at 16 years of age, Why would your doctor be down there?
Shave,
Don't worry about your doctor! He will keep it to himself
Shaving your pubes is OK just as long you don’t cut yourself; I shave all the time down there! In fact I been doing it for 6 years now and it feels good, it may take a couple of times to get used to it and it may itch during that process.
Even if you just trim it down solves a lot of the problems
I hope this helps… :)

It's not something they have to report. That being said, you don't "own" your information in some states, until you are 18. Like here in CA, the parents can demand all info unless the MD thinks that telling them would put you at risk for violence. But there is no reason he should need to tell them this.

it's pretty much strictly confidential, when they check that area, usually it's only you and the doctor in the room, unless your mom wants to be the first one to know if you have an STD or something, or she acts like that. It's totally ok to do it, the doctors are not just gonna go blurting out that you shave your pubs. GL

I doubt your doctor would mention it to your parents, because it isn't something that will affect your health. And chances are, he's seen a ton of people who shave down there, so it's not news to him. He probably wouldn't care.

That is something personal. A Doctor would not share that, as it has nothing to do with your health. I doubt the Doc would even mention it.
