Hm, I don't think 'being married' is the only time you can get away with not using condoms.......... a monogamous relationship would also warrant not using them.
Anyhoooo, if you don't want any accidents I would say definitely use the condom.

No. Here's why: the hormones in the patch affect the hormones that usually govern ovulation in your body. 21 days of hormones basically puts your ovaries to sleep. The seven hormone free days aren't enough to let your ovaries wake up enough to release an egg. The hormones in the patch also thin the lining of your uterus so that if your ovaries do wake up enough to release an egg, and it gets fertilized, it's not a good place to implant and grow, and it thickens the mucous around your cervix making it harder for sperm to get through it and try to fertilize the (non-existant) egg.
If STDs are a concern at all, a condom may be a good idea, whether it's the patch-free week or not.
