Well, i'm worried that me throwing up more than keeping food down is dangerous.. I mean i can eat certain food sometimes, and other times i can't. I need to know something to ease this morning sickness, cause it seems that my child isn't getting any nutrtion. Any help on this would be great!

The biggest danger of severe morning sickness is dehydration. The baby will still get everything it needs from your body, so you really need to worry about yourself more. Take your prenatal vits and eat small amounts of food every 2 hrs or so. Try sipping very hot or very cold drinks in between, as it will stop you from dehydrating and it will calm the nausea some. I find peppermint tea works best for me, and munching on small, ice cold watermelon cubes. Before getting up in the mornings, try eating a few crackers or plain biscuits to settle your stomach a bit. You can just keep the packet next to your bed if you have no one to bring it to you.

I can totally sympathize with you.... I lost a total of 15 punds during the first three months of each of my pregnancies. I was throwing up constantly! Aside from dehydration (which is a severe side effect of excessive vomiting) you should watch out for vitamin B6 deficiencies. These can cause the extreme vomiting. Try to make sure that you continually take sips of water all day long to avoid getting too dehydrated. I tried using those anti-seasickness wrist bands to eliminate some of the nausea, and they worked on the light nausea. Sometimes sucking on jolly ranchers (or other hard candy) helped to keep the nausea at bay- other times nothing helped. I still can't eat or smell In-and-Out hamburgers... and that was over 8 years ago when I was pregnant with my first. It is hard to know what will set you off, and what will help... you just have to try everything you can think of. Seven-up and saltine crackers were a staple in my house, as was plain white rice. Whatever you can get to stay in at this point is what you should eat (unless it is harmful, raw, or fish). Talk to your doc to see if they can prescribe something for anti-nausea, and make sure that you are not suffering from any dehydration. Good luck!

Try crackers in the morning. Eat them slow and in small bites. If it doesnt get better, be sure to ask your doctor. I knew a girl that was sick literally every twenty minutes through her entire pregnancy. She eventually had to be put on an IV to ensure that her child was receiving a sufficient amount of nutrients. I would definitely talk to your physician.

Your child is getting the nutrition from your body, not what you eat. You are the one who is lacking the nutrition, so don't worry about the baby.

When I was pregnant, I had to eat crackers every morning before my feet hit the floor, that was the only way I didn't get ill.

Best of luck!

I had morning sickness until I gave birth
This is what my doctor told me
You will be okay, if you eat and drink, after throwing up
It's dangerous only if you do not eat and drink, after throwing up
Good luck
