if you are using win 2000 or win xp then do a windows update check to see if you have installed the daylight savings patch...this year daylight saving starts 3 weeks earlier and microsoft released a patch to fix this...
i doubt anything major would happen..your clock would be out by one hour...but if you install the patch then it will change on time and all will be well

You aren't going to have a problem if you have Vista. It has the new daylight savings change programmed in. There is a patch available from Microsoft for Windows XP and 2000 Pro. Older operating systems will have to be changed manually, both in the spring and in the fall. Here's a link to the patch:
http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cp_dst
And no, your computer won't crash. What will happen is that the time on your emails will be wrong until the date when daylight savings usually begins. Then the older systems, Windows ME, 98 and earlier, will catch up.

unfortunately daylight savings time is different this year and microsoft doesn't have a patch for it no big deal if it's a personal computer but imagine if its a company that has over 200 computers like ours we (IT) have to do them manually . so yes you will have to do it manually yourself. it's not a big deal. it is the same as you fowarding your home clock or the microwave or the vcr or tv or your wristwatch. nothing will happen to your pc at all. so don't freak out. I stand corrected I went to microsoft website and they do have a patch for daylight savings time. go to the website and search "daylight savings time patch" they will let you know and you can download a patch for your particular OS system.
hope this helps you out

Don't worry, you won't lose your computer. Just make sure, that you download all of Microsoft's updates, and that should fix it. If you go to www.microsoft.com, there is a good article on that page about the coming change. But, you can uncheck the button, and do it yourself if you would like as well. But don't worry, it won't be like the fears for Y2K, this won't crash your computer.

Marilyn ... RJ is rather a lot one hundred% properly desirable. Microsoft has already allotted the replace for living house windows XP that addresses the hot time for imposing DST. in case your updates are modern-day, then you definately've already were given it.

Assuming you're using Windows, you can get the fix for this at the Windows Update website.
Look for this one: Update for Windows XP KB931836
