Is there a preference for morning, afternoon or evening? I have not been advised as such, but just making sure. Also, can I take my BBT on Clomid, or will the meds affect my results?

It's my second cycle of Clomid. The first (50 mg) failed to induce ovulation. I am hoping for better luck this time with the increased dosage (100 mg). I didn't have such problems with side effects last time. I was slightly irritable and I couldn't sleep, but I think it was more psychological, as this was a stressful experience, and not the meds.

Right before bed is best to take it, it helps reduce some of the side effects like hot flashes. Continue taking your BBT while taking clomid just be aware that it can cause a slight temp increase while you are taking it and for a day or so afterwards.

I don't know about other meds but you can take clomid at any time. I usually took mine before bed. That's the only way I would remember. Is this your first round what dosage are you taking. I only had to do 2 rounds on 50 mg. I was lucky.Good Luck to you!!!

Ok I had taken clomid in the past the morning is the worst time to take it
I stoped because I could not put my family throw the side effect
(i was moody, and extremely tired)
I took it only one cycle the doc prescribe again
and he advise me to take it at night that way I could sleep the side effect off
and I talk to women who had taken it at night and they say that's the way to go
Good luck

As long as you take it at the same time it shouldn't really matter when.
I think it can affect your bbt as its a hormone so I'd make a note off it on your chart.
Provera raises your temp as it is progesterone and I think clomid can make your temps slightly lower (not sure though)

It does not substitute in case you ovulate or not. It has to do with timing your ovulation. you're suposed to ovulate approximately 5 days after taking your final clomid pill. sturdy success and various infant dirt!!

It doesnt matter which time you take it but take it on the same time each day,Also it would be better for you to take the medicine in the night.
