Friends are suppose to be treated as friends only.
An request from a friend should be accepted as request only and it should not be treated as order. Sometime a friend's request may look like order, just take it sportingly. However it always has a limit. You should know better and understand that of some people are exploiting you in the name of friendship.

By the way servants are also not to be treated as servants. They should be treated with dignity and respect.

A friendship is ideally based on common grounds that two or more people can relate to and use to share other interests and therefore benefit each other through exchange of ideas. It is also meant to encourage self-esteem. If your friends are treating you like a servant - ask yourself whether they really are your friends or not.

Although the first thought that comes to mind is NO, there can often be exceptions. For example if your friend is going through some kind of crisis and is venting his/her anger out on you - then it may be unconciously done and temporary.

If this has been going on for some time now, then there are things you can do about it (that is to say if its bothering you - some ppl like being controlled)

- talk to them
- talk to your other friends for general advice and find out if anyone else feels that way too
- start hanging out with them less and more with other people that make you feel positive and happy

No certainly not unless thats the way they prefer to be treated. If you are host to your friends in your own house then the answer is yes because you are the hostess in that case But any request would have to be polite and followed with PLEASE.

no and if this is happening to u. You may want to stop it right there because once it starts up for a long time it will stay. Try to thell the person politley to stop bossing u around and try to tell her i can not be friends wit u if u are going to boss me around so stop or our friendship is over

What do you think?!

Of course not. Although, you're not supposed to let them treat you like a doormat either...

No way! Tell them how you feel and if they don't care then they're not really your friends, are they? It's like they're treating you like a slave! Don't stand for it!

NO!! You're letting your friends walk all over you which was something I use to let my friends do but that is wrong. You don't service them with anything but letting them having another friend.
