If you mean 7 for all Mankind jeans, as there are two brands one being "7", the big deal is mostly hype. But actually as time goes along there is not such a big deal about these jeans anymore. They are by far not the most expensive jeans out there and they are no longer hard to find.
But if you want to know what the hype is about, or why it started, it's because the jeans are made better than most other jeans, they have better styling and fit better. You get what you pay for, and although 7 for all Mankind is not my favorite, they are pretty good jeans, and my husband likes wearing them, they give men really great asses.b
But there are much better jeans out there, but those cost way over $200 dollars to start.

Not all jeans are created equal. Seven for all mankind has an incredible fit, and the quality of the denim is much better than your average jean. It's really no longer about the "logo" or "status" to wear designer jeans..... it's about a totally flattering fit and beautiful washes.

let it be known 7 jeans is not the same as 7 for all mankind. the big deal is the fit and its material. unlike the average pair of jeans, you can actually see the quality of it. of course, you are paying well over a hundred for them.

Nothing! Way over rated. I'm in the garment business and find them no different than any other pair of jeans. You're paying for a name and satus. That's all.

its totally a status thing. its like whats the big deal with gucci or hermes? its all just to show that you have enough money to buy a pair of jeans that are so expensive

seven for all mankind are designers. they ARE nice jeans, but they are only jeans with a back pocket design that are recognizable. its the same with true religion, citizens of humanity, hudson, joey jeans and so much more. they are DESIGNER
