whats boot device and how would i know whats mine??

A boot device is something that the computer boots from when it is starting up. It can be a hard disk, CD/DVD-ROM drive, floppy drive, etc. Your boot device is probably your hard disk. You can check this by going into your BIOS (by pressing F1, F2, del, etc. before Windows loads).
