They also acquired Wes Welker from Miami. With a decent, even elite corps of receivers such as these, do you think Brady's stats might even exceed his 2005 season?

four ways it will affect him:

1. he will have his number one receiver that he has always wanted!

2. deep threat, always can break away and go deep

3. Brady will be happy, so he wont whine!!!!

4. Wes Welker (even though he only been on the team for a day) will feel like he doesn't have to be always on the top of his game......he should though

and i think if he gets traded to New England, Brady will exceed his stats from '05.

Patriots should make the deal as they have the veterans that can keep Moss in check if he starts acting up. At least Moss isn't poisonous to a locker room like our buddy T.O.

It's doubtful Brady's stats would go much higher than the stats you put down. Brady will have good and bad games just like everyone else but he's never gonna throw more than he has to. It's not like his team loses a lot so he has to throw to get the Pats back in the game so I'm sure things will stay pretty consistent.

Tom Brady has a history of getting the best out of his recievers, much like Brett Favre used to do. I think if the Raiders get anything of value for Moss at this point, would be a STEAL. Randy Moss is on his last chance with the NFL as a #1 reciever, Brady can make it happen, but can Randy stay happy with the way the Pats spread the ball so much.. giving Moss limited opportunities to make plays, which means he'd have to BLOCK! more often. I don't know, but i can tell you one thing.. football fans and fantasy managers can only pray that this marriage, if confirmed, would boost both stars status in 2007 NFL season.

If the Patriots acquire Moss, he'll hurt, not help Brady's stats. Randy's said numerous times that he only plays when he feels like it and that means that he'll drop alot of Brady's passes or just watch them fall to the ground. He might even cause a few INTs. New England would be best letting somebody else get suckered into trading for Randy Moss.

If Randy Moss decides to actually play every down, every game, it will have a huge impact on Brady. He's never really had a top-shelf WR -- Deion Branch was solid but he's no Randy Moss.

If Moss goes to the Pats and they get off to a bad start, look out. Bad Randy will show up, sulk and bring the whole team down.

It certainly would be different to see Brady have a talented group of receivers to play catch with but in reality I dont think it will change the way the team runs its offense. He is a master at controlling a game even without great receivers, it will create matchup problems and open up the running game even more. He may get a few more passing yards and a half dozen more TD passes but the system has been so good overall I dont see much changing.

They only way I see any good comming from Randy Moss is if they keep him happy. He still has talent. But he's not much of a team player, and he is past his prime. He is a trouble maker if he isnt happy. So if they keep him happy, he can do some good for Brady. But in the end I think he will be more bad than good.
