bleach solution is best, followed by white vinegar. However a new mattress and lounge furniture might be the best answer because mold can be tough to get rid of if imbedded in cushions and mattress.

If it is black mold, then NOTHING will kill it........bleach will make it go away, but it'll come right back. Black mold is potentially harmful, because it'll emit spores into the air.....which can cause many respiratory problems, and could lead to some major or life threatening illnesses. If this mold won't go away, then either discard the mattress and lounge cushions or burn them. It's far less expensive to buy another one then to have to deal with someone getting pneumonia from mold spores. If it is mildew, then you can easily kill it with bleach. Best of luck to you.

Vinegar isn't really what you want. A dilute solution of chlorine, read bleach, is what you want to kill mold. Wipe with the solution, allow a few minutes to work then wipe with a cloth wetted with water only and let dry in the sun. Good luck.

It is better to use a bleach solution to kill the mold than vinegar.
