I think yahoo! has some obvious inaccuracies (which is good so people do their research). what draft lists do you guys consult? where can i find them?

Personally, I prefer CBS Sportsline. I like their in-depth analysis. The other day, I kept one tab open to Sportsline while I did a draft in my Yahoo league, just for reference.

Plus, you don't necessarily need to be a member or have any passwords or anything to access the information. Just log on and have at it.

I use them all. Then create my own based on what categories and scoring options I will be playing. I may have slightly different lists for different formats and scoring options. In roto, I have Andruw Jones rated higher in the outfield position than in H2H. And in one league where K's count against the hitting category he is on my exclude list. So I just use all lists as a general guideline and don't rely on rankings as much as expected stats. And by knowing the stat expectations you are better prepared in the later rounds of a draft - there is not a fantasy league in the world where drafting Pujols is a mistake. But round 14 or 15 is where you make a good team a winner and have to know you your stats and players.

It depends on the type of league. Is it this year only or keeper? Salary cap type (auction) or free for all? Head to head or roto?

That being said, you probably want to look at multiple sites. Obvious ones include:
Yahoo!
Espn
sportsline
foxsports
sportingnews
fanball
mlb.com

I always buy a magazine, but if you don't want to waste 7 bucks heres a good site. CBS sports is always right on track

Top 300 overall: http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/fantasy/story/9952164

Well - I use mine :)

In the past I've used ESPN, but I never really found one that was exactly what I wanted, so I set up my own site. Check it out.

i dont use sites, i use my brain. just trust yourself. online cheat sheets either make you pay for them or they are not very good. yahoo for instance isnt that great as you said. just use your own intuition and make your own judgments.
