I mean, he was renton, and vash's voice actor, but they are not ichigo, those teo are more happy people, his vioce does not suit a scowling menace like ichigo...

not really if u have seen the jap version, that vioce actor is so much better, its rougher than the eng voice actor, which is much better for ichigo.

Maybe the company who made the synchronization didn't listened to much to what the original voice actor sounded like and so thought, that he would be best.

actually, he pulls of Ichigo's voice rather well.
you see, there's a thing called range. some people can use several different ranges. take my favorite dub VA Kari Whalgren for example. you may not know it but she voice Haruko from FLCL, Robin in Witch Hunter Robin, Cher Degre in Wolf's Rain, Pacifica in Scrapped Princess and many more. many times if you didn't know it was her voicing the character you'd not realize it because her range as a voice actor is so wide.
also of note, I wouldn't exactly call Vash happy, he's got some nice angst to his character for all he ACTS happy.
