I cancelled my verizon service. The sent me a final bill for -$15.03. That means they owe me that? Can I get a check from them for that or what?

I did this recently, moved and cancelled my Verizon phone and dsl service. They sent us a check in the mail without us having to ask or anything.

Most likely they'll send you a check for that in maybe 4-8 weeks. It's not really that big of a deal and you should get it as long as you remain patient. Now this may have been a freak situation for me but I once received an check for an overpayment that i deposited and I went on to spend most of the money in my account on the day after thanksgiving sales, but what I didn't know was that the check ended up bouncing and causing me to overdraft the day before I got paid. So the moral of this story is to make sure that after you cash the check is to make sure that you have enough money in your account just to make sure that if it bounces for some reason then you won't be adversely affected.

If you had NOT cancelled your service they would simply have credited that amount to your next bill.
BUT, since you did cancel you certainly are due a refund check.
Perhaps, "the check is in the mail"?
Give them a call, or go to your online Verizon account to find out where it stands. I don't think they're going to stiff you for the money.

I would phone them and ask 'show me the money'. If you pay your bills online, it will be credited whenever they get around to it.
