Because somebody thought it would be a good idea to let Yanks have computers, so now they can spread their stock answers on the internet as well.
It''s a lack of brains and originality really.

They do it for the points, or to show off their completely unrelated ideas & opinions (cos they think it makes them look different and quirky). Maybe they think this is a blog, rather than a question & answer site!
I agree with you about politicians, and my only comment re the number of Americans answering on Yahoo UK is maybe they now think that the UK is the 51st state and they therefore have a right to comment! I think it speaks for itself that they have a World Series in baseball which only involves American teams. That's American logic for you - 'nuff said!

I think it's due to the pathetic level of literacy which is displayed by many here. They can't read and understand anything that isn't "Posh gets her norks out at fashion show" or some other inane crap.

I'm just staggered by the sheer stupidity and nastiness at some of the comments people come out with. I don't get why. Its one thing trying to answer someones question with a sense of humour and to try and be different to other peoples answers, but some of the comments made are pathetic.
