My cousin told me that they did, but she majors in Criminal Justice. Do they really offer internships with magazines?

yes. but most college secure and offer only one or two internships per semester per degree. out of many students your chances of getting it are unlikely.

you must find and apply for internships on your own. usually a the college has a job center that will help you. magazine internships are competitive and hard to get. ive even seen ones in which you have to pay them...

focus on your presentation and interview skills. search and apply for as many internships as possible. and have your friends and family reach out and find important contacts. they are your best source for jobs and internships.

yep I worked for Time Out Magazine and believe it or not, Playboy Magazine in New York. They had a very comprehensive internship at Playboy and they even had us go to the Magazine Publisher's of America educational program where we learned straight hand from the top of industry executives.

One intern even got her article published in Playboy. You can go to their websites of any magazine and inquire further. I highly suggest calling the main numbers they have for these companies and they can direct you to the right people.

Some publications do offer internships, you will just have to contact them while in college. Your counselor should be able to help you with that.
