hating on valdes?
ive been reading some of your questions and some answers and stuff..
i mean, so recently he hasnt been at his best, but what about all those AMAZING saves hes made?
its like, when barca wins and he has a good game, everyone loves him, but when he makes a mistake or somethin, y'all hate him? i dont get it.

Yeah I felt sorry for him too. He made some great saves today. First round leg everyone howled him down but the fact is there were others in the team who's mistakes in turning over possession and bad defending were just as crucial. Everyone blames the goalie for letting the ball in the net but often fail to see how it got there in the first place. Valdez is OK in my books. He had an off day in a crucial game sure, but he has contributed to Barca being where they are in La Liga.

I don't hate him, but you must admit that he did some really idiotic mistakes in last few very important games.... Bellamy's goal at Camp Nou was his mistake, then he did another mistake when he picked up an indirect ball, against Sevilla's free kick he did another ridiculous mistake when first he didn't go more on the right side of the goal and second when he let the ball between his eyes, tonight he made some really good saves, but when he kicked the ball directly in to Sissoko's legs I start to laugh, if there was any other Liverpool player that would be a goal 100%......... it's really hard to chose who was worse today Puyol with his stupid dribblings at the wrong time and the wrong place or Valdes with his passes to Reds!!!!

Pool fan and I thought he did an excellent job. Although Liverpool missed all their shots anyway, whether they hit the crossbar, were wide, too high, or saved by Valdes, he was always in the right place to make the save if the ball came his way. Except for a couple times, like Sissoko's SOG and the frenzy play where Liverpool kept kicking it and it kept getting saved. But yea, I thought he did an excellent job.
