If you don't care what resort you stay at , wait and take your chance , if you concerned about a specific resort I would book now, or check with your travel agent who can give a list of properties that may be what you are looking for example ....4 star or better, closer to the main strip...
Good luck. Have fun

If you buy a package which is air plus hotel it will be much less expensive than buying it separate. You will also receive transfers to and from the hotel/airport. Sandals is one of the best all inclusive hotels in Jamaica. I would suggest you go to the Sandals website as there are so many Sandals hotels all over the island. The great thing about going to a Sandals is that you can dine at any of the different Sandals when staying at one. I have would not go through Expedite because Sandals reservation agents know all the specials going on. I just pulled up Sandals Royal Caribbean clicked the button and spoke to a representative via the computer.I do not recommend going to any of the Sandals in Montego Bay. You do not get the flavour of Sandals at the small Sandals and the larger Montgeo Bay Sandals has noisy planes always flying above. My favorite is Sandals Royal Caribbean...For the water sport couples Sandals Negril. P.S Why book through Expedia or any other travel center when you don't have to pay any more to book air and hotel from Sandals......

I don't think that the actual resort would be that more expensive it would be the air fare, which i bought tickets to mexico one year about 6 months ahead of time and then when it came time to fly I saw tickets 100 dollars cheaper. And then the following year i waited until a month before and they were more expensive than listed many months in advance

I would book now. March and April is very busy time in Mexico.
Many spring breakers and families traveling.
We are going to Cancun in May, we booked in January, glad we did the air and land portion has gone up $600 dollars.
Good Luck

You should have booked 30-90 out. This is the start of the busy season. You might get lucky and find something.

The longer you wait, the more it will cost. I just booked my flight to Hawaii. the next day, it jumped 20$ and i am going to hawaii in 4 months!!! So if price is a concern, BOOK IT NOW!!! but if not, later... but if u wait too late, they might run out... so theres pros and cons

If you book air earlier, it is better, otherwise hotel booking does not matter when...that depends on the dates you will be there. Sometimes it's more expensive over the weekends.:) Tracy
