You are talking about spring peepers, right? they eat and small invertibrates, mostly soft shelled ones, ants, spiders, small soft insects

You mean spring peepers? They eat spiders, beetle, mosquitoes, flies, ants - anything small. I've had a few in captivity that would eat small crickets and fruitflies.
