When should we time intercourse?

Hey everyone I usually get a positive on my OPK on days 12&13. I am on clomid and I am wanting to get pregnant, but I dont know how to time intercourse appropriately because I dont know exactly when I ovulate. Anyways, tomorrow is day 12, so my husband and I had intercourse today, but is it okay to do it on both days 12 and 13?

If you go to this website: http://www.conceptionstore.com and click on ovulation calendar it will help you accurately predict the days of ovulation. If your doctor has gone ahead and put you on clomid, hopefully he also had your husband's sperm tested. It would be ridiculous for a doctor to have you on a fertility drug and not even be sure if your husband has a good sperm count. So, assuming your husband's sperm count is normal, having sex every day starting several days before ovulation and including the day of ovulation is preferable. The technique of doing it every other day is generally recommended if the sperm count is low or unknown. If it's normal, every day does increase your chances. If for some reason your husband hasn't been tested...if you don't happen to get pregnant this cycle, I would definitely insist he get tested before doing another round of clomid.

Next time try an ovulation predictor kit. It can give you a more accurate time when you are releasing an egg. It goes by your hormone levels, you have to start it on the day your period ends. But yes it is ok to have sex on both days. I would imagine your hubby`s sperm count may drop a little if you have sex one day after another.Maybe every other day ?
