So what I did was, I put my two index fingers at the base of the tastebud and popped it off (it sounds gross but it wasn't like that, I just pressed my fingers together and it came off). It felt a lot better after that, but then the top turned white again and I continued and now I have 1cm spot of white on my tongue that hurts. I think it's just an inflamed tastebud but it hurts and it's raised.

common and give it time. Growing up, my parents told me they were lie bumps and you got them because you told a lie.

It's just a little irritated. If you can stand it, it will go away, but...when that happens to mine, it really bugs me and I don't have the patience to wait it out, so I take a fingernail clippers and clip the little bugger off. Painful for a moment, but not as bad as putting up with the taste bud. It heals over within a day.

Did you tell a lie recently? It's an old wifes tell...when you tell a lie sometimes you get a little white bump on your tongue and it hurts like hell! as a matter of fact when i was a kid i told quite a few lies and i do remember getting one of those and i burst it the same way that you did but it did'nt turn into a white spot or nothing.

You DEFINITELY have oral candidiasis. You need a fungal medication from the doctor. Don't leave it, this infection can spread quickly and/or get into your blood stream and cause more serious problems.

Once you get treatment, make sure you change your toothbrush. The fungus will live on your toothbrush, so you can reinfect yourself.

I MARRIED a nerd!

They are as quality of a boyfriend as you treat him. If you treat him like crap and can't get beyond his nerdyness, then he will never live up to your expectations.

My husband has been amazing. The sex is incredible and he has never been so sweet.
