Bullying is a result of the insecurities of the bully, whether due to jealousy (which is the case a lot of the time) or due to the bully having no control over their own environment, resulting in their desire to control and dominate someone else by means of fear. The bully often really needs help and understanding, but it's obviously hard to feel any sympathy for someone behaving so unpleasantly.

I think jealousy has a hugh part to play especially with children, the lastest gadget, clothes, the family has more money or just doesnt fit into the it crowd. Parents can also share some of the blame, some parents do not care what their child does or where they are as long as the authorites arnt banging their door. children, have it hard, not enough positive attention and quality time with their family, complete with boundries and family discussions, too many parents have to work long hours and cant be there for the kids or cant be bothered and the kids pick up on that.they know very little of what thier child is up to or interested in or the problems they may be having.

Bully, mmm.
I was warned - when I was younger a lot of years ago - that a bully is all mouth by my grandad. He said to me: "hit the bugger hard and fast".
It worked and still does :-)

The really good looking girls I have known always get bullied by other females especially at work. They really do make their lives hell just because of their looks.

I think so...bullies seem to be unhappy with themselves, dont know really. I think it is the delusion of control.
