I didn't really think about it. If you reply, please don't tell me, "get help" and "get counciling"....i get enough of that from my parents.

I had a Daughter who was a Cutter, she was just like yourself, she started cutting herself in the 7th grade. I think the pressures at school and from other kids was just too much for her and she found relief (her words) in doing this. She did go seek Counseling and was put on medication for depression. The doctors also recently diagnosed her as Bi-Polar. She is now 21, this started at age 12. She is an AG Student and has a ScholarShip in College, but she also has problems in other areas that needed help. You do not want to hear that you need Help but you do and only YOU can get the help you need. Do it for yourself, don't delay. It will only get worse but you can DO IT.

Honey, You may not want to hear "Get Help" or "Get Counciling", but that is exactly what you need. My niece was a cutter strting in the 6th grade she is still in counciling and she graduates high school 2007-2008 school year. When she gets upset she does the same thing heads for the sharpest object. with councilling she is able to better controll it. Take care & good luck dear!

Cutting is just another problem. It won't solve anything.I just watched a show called on Intervintions on A&E about a girl that cut herself to relive stress. She got some counseling. Maybe you could do that or talk to someone who will support you. Good Luck!!

You don't need those "friends" that want you caught. It's none of their business, even if they WERE just trying to help.. they need to butt out. Find friends who don't think you need help, but understand what ur going through and won't treat u any different. Cutting yourself doesn't help ANYTHING. i thought about doing it myself.. but what does that do? causes MORE pain than what ur ALREADY going through. it's pointless. my friend did it, i told her it was stupid. she was stupid.. i said i would NEVER do something so dumb.. then something caused me major pain and made me feel worthless. like a piece of $hit. i had the razor on my arm when i realized that this was going no where. You DO have ppl that care about you.. even if u don't realize it, u cut in the wrong place and boom, u can die. don't cut. trust me..

yeah i had this problem when i was in 7th grade and it sucks! first off i got rid of those friends that turned me in (yeah they might have been tryen to help but they made my life hell) and i found ones i could trust. also to get rid of the cuts use..i think it was either nailpolish remover or alcohol prep pads? and to stop cutting..try finding something else to occupy your time. i started running when i got mad. but ultimately i dont think running was what made me stop..i think it was the fear of getten caught again. idk..im not sayen its gunna work cuz hell its hard to just drop a habit. lol but good luck i seriously hope you can stop. =]

What you are doing is harmful. You need to love and respect your parents.
