i want to know if taking the pill will immediately stop the bleeding because it cant find the information anywhere help!

Hi there. Sorry for your trouble. The birth control pill generally limits the duration and or decreases the flow of the menses. Immediately stopping the period is highly unlikely. Take your medication as prescribed. The Depo Provera injection will cause cessation of periods in about 80% of females taking it over a year's time. Many will experience spotting for up to 3 months. Use your medication responsibly and have a healthy year

It won't immediately stop the bleeding. It will take a pill pack or two to get on track with your pills.
