I live in Alabama, Land of the Fundies. If I didn't take a few steps to stand up in my small little way, I'd go insane.
I don't say the Pledge in class. I like my country, but it's just a bunch of lies with an unconstitutional clause thrown in. I don't even stand up anymore.
Whenever I get ahold of paper money, I make sure to take a pen and scratch off "In God We Trust." It's not supposed to be on there, and it's not going to be on my money.
Lastly, I make it known that I don't support this crap. I wear Darwin fish t-shirts to school, read controversial books, and express my opinions. There's no way I'm going to be taken over like so many others.
Do you stand up, even if it's just in the tiniest, most insignificant way?

Your question doesn't deserve an answer, dude, far out!!!.
If you can come down from whatever it is you're on right now, listen up.........or is the world spinning too fast?
"No pledge", no "In God We Trust", just defensive "I'm picked on" jargon..Do we stand up.......is that your question?
What the heck DO people like you stand for? You complain about everything, but put no spin on what the hell it is you want.
Come down now, stay off the stuff, and think of something rational to post.
Any chance of getting some of what Vanamont7 is on??

i knew a kid like you. he was bright but nearly the Einstein he thought he was. he expressed himself about an imperfect world much like you do. he reminded of Edwin Arlington Robinson's Minniver Cheevey dreaming of heroic days of knights and beautiful maidens. but Minniver ended up with a serious drinking problem and just cursed and drank as he got older. full of hate and scorn. my friend was like Minniver and ended up pretty much the same way. angry, rebelling about romantic ideals, full of scorn. the word scorn is what sticks out.

Hmm. i in my opinion don't have self belief that "they" (the authoritarian collectivists) will "start up" with the Catholic Church. "They" comprise many nominal Catholics in solid, popular positions of ability of their ranks. A astounding party is the living house Speaker, who became "punished" for her activism on behalf of the present radical replace in authorities, jointly with the aggressive implementation of eugenic guidelines, with a Papal target market. It could be problematic for those of the Church who grieve upon seeing see such guidelines of lodging. again. after all: No, "they" do not flow after the Church---in the starting up---"they" flow after those who're a lot more suitable weak. "They" already "began" a lengthy time period in the past upon the a lot-maligned so-stated as "fundies." you recognize, the "bitter" ones who carry to Bibles, who lack (even forgo) efficient oligarchies, who renowned a Judeo-Christian historic past as evidenced upon the freedom Bell? the position is the Catholic Church even as those individuals and their Christian religious beliefs are mocked? How, certainly, does the Church suitable regard American Christians who're descendants of the large Awakening? more suitable questions: Who did the individuals of Connecticut help for President? The DNC is basically antithetical to sanctity of existence; statements advise little even as contradicted by technique of action taken to empower those whose guidelines will truthfully galvanize the desire for such statements to save up appearances. What did the hosts of the Al Smith Dinner imagine about Obama's tasteless connection with a manger? a huge question: Why does Georgetown college collaborate with proponents of Wahabbism? Which reminds me of a right now-appropriate question: What of non-Catholic Christians in places like the former Yugoslavia? What of conscientious clergy alongside with Cardinal Mindszenty who were bartered contained in the activity of conserving impression, etc. for the duration of *before* communist regimes? sure, the Franklin quote by technique of "destiny Political Prisoner" is sweet certainly. yet no, "they" do no longer flow after the "massive" adult males on the block----in the starting up-----fantastically see you later because the "massive" adult males are keen to make bargains. .
