what most people do not realize is that all of the actions in the game are affected by your choices. if you decide to pick up a hooker you pick up a hooker. they dont approach you. you dont have to kill innocent people but you can. some of the missions force you to kill bad guys but if this 12 year old does not live in a cave, he has probably seen more than his share of killing. in the end, it depends on the maturity level of the kid. if he seems really impressionable keep him away from it at all costs. if he is thoughtful and can think for himself, dont deprive him of one of the most fun games i have played in a long time.

All games have a rating code:
E-Everyone (all ages)
E10 - Everyone over 10 years old
T - Teen (13 and up)
M - Mature (17 and up)
AO - Adults Only
A 12 year old should NOT play that game. Not only does it have intense violence and strong foul language, but it has blood and gore, use of drugs and strong sexual content!! (and that's just what the case says!!) Check out the site for more information.

Usually not. The age rating for all of them is M for mature, ages 17 and up. I couldnt find what the ratings were based on but im pretty sure they are for Blood and gore, Voilence, at least some sexual themes (probably more), and probably for strong language

not at all they r quite violent and twelve year olds might not have the maturity as say a 16 year old
