some thing kind of hip, but smooth. Don't listen to the people who said "Fergie and Cassie, and stuff" because what guy is gunna want to hang out there. Also, the music will be way to distracting. Like someone above me said, Starbucks has some good music, just try to be a little edgier than them.

Songs (i can't think of to many off the top of my head, but I'll try)
Look what you've done-Jet
Your body is a wonderland-John Mayer
You give me something- James Morrison
Here with out you (acoustic version)- 3 Doors Down
Nothing left to lose- Mat Kearney
I think you know what the style is i mean by now, soft, but catchy. Also no just for boys or girls. Also, be careful with the volume, if its playing to softly, why bother setting up the music, but if its too loud you'll scare people off.

A little Jazz wouldn't hurt, just nothing too weird

Just look at what Starbucks plays (Jazz type stuff). They seem to have it down to a science. I like the kind of music they play because it's not distracting if you're in a conversation, but it fills the silences when the conversation wavers. It's not the kind of music I would ever buy, but it's perfect for the venue.

their best song would be "Say This Sooner (No One Will Ever See Things the Way I Do)

its not heavy metal, its pretty light rock
