I can't wear tampons becuase none will fit. I've had my period for seven years now, and my mom doesnt know that i cant wear tampons. I need to tell her so I can get it fixed.
How do I tell her? I keep walking up to tell her, but chicken out! How do i make myself tell her? How do I start?
I just dont feel comfortable doing this. But i Know i need to.

why don't you just tell her what you told us. She is your mom and if you can't talk to her about something as small as your period, then what can you talk to her about?

Maybe you are using the wrong flow. Try getting a tampon size smaller so that it can fit. If you don't want to talk with your mom, talk with your doctor. Trust me, moms know everything about tampon troubles, periods, etc. She's the best person to ask!

Try the thin tampax ones, but make sure you're "lubricated" down there before trying to slide it in and try and relax your muscles. Then clean yourself up.
If its that uncomfortable, try talking to a close friend, or even a friends mother, sometimes it can actually be easier then talking to your own. But maybe try and talk to your friends about this, then see if you can get an answer, and if not, sorry hun you'll have to work up the nerve and try and talk it out with your mom

OMG thats sort of weird ive never heard of this b4. uhum obviously your a virgin! but how old are you? i am 13! uhum i suggest you tell your mom when u and her r alone. uhum start off slowly and tell her u need 2 talk 2 her about some girl stuff and she wont be caught by suprise!! u should be able to talk to her about this stuff!!!!

Start with something like,"Mom, I think I need to see a doctor", you will have her attention and you go from there.

and just tell her when u are both going out to shop
