I don't find it racism because you're talking about yourself.
Some people take things way too offensively sometimes.

Well if you have pure HATRED of your own race, then yes it is racism. But if you're joking, then no. However in the midst of your joking you very well could offend someone. So be careful with the jokes! Not all ppl think the same.

wel, actually racism is generally considered racism if u make fun of another race. bt, yea it's still racist because you're discriminating (srry to use such a harsh wrd) according to a race regardless if it's ur own

I think a lot of us do that, whites call each other things like cracker, blacks call each other N when they are joking, well - people call it racism when one race calls another a name but not when, for example, in a black comedy they refer to one another as "stupid N" (I can't bring myself to use THAT word). I don't get it, why it's ok for one's own race to use "bad" words but not other races, but oh well, that is our society. I am one of the least racist people out there, but I will never unstand that.

I think that's more about racial stereotyping. I guess the two could be considered the same, but I consider racism viewing certain races as inferior. I don't think that joking around with racial stereotypes is racism.

No. Mencia does it every day on the Comedy Channel but he gets us whites too. Try him. He is breaking down stereotypes and making me laugh at the same time! He's on in the evenings and it's called The Mind of Mencia!

I don't think it's racism, if your gonna laugh at someone, laugh at your own. I do all the time.
Did you hear about the 'hispanic' that locked his keys in his car ???? It took him 3 hours to get the wife and kids out. LOL !!!

I would say no because rappers use the "n word" all the time in their songs, but if a white person says it, they are condemned mightily in the media. If something is insulting, I should think it would be insulting all around, but the evidence says otherwise.
