I think you're asking if the routing number to your checking account at your bank would be the same routing number as your savings account. As long as they're both at the same bank then you should be able to use the same routing number without a problem. It's always best to cal just to completely certain, you can probably call their automated number and speak to a rep just to be sure.

yes, the routing number is the ID for the bank, though some banks can have multiple routing numbers. So, it would be the 9 digiti routing number, bank name, location of bank, account name and then account number. Then any description as to what the wire transfer is for.

Whoever banks at your bank has the same routing numbers, but usually with savings accounts they just need to know your number for withdrawls.
