Future events do not exist. How can one alter what does not exist. The only thing you can change is the choice you make. You can make choices and change them, which will then come into your present experience.

If I try my best now in the present then I would wish that my wish be altered for what is to come is most certainly the outcome of my best efforts in the present. I would not like my efforts to go to waste for the fulfilment of my wishful thinking, as all I have now is all that is best in me, and if I am what I am then I am at my best, including my wishes that are best wishes too, which must be fulfilled if I am what I am now. And if my wish is not the best, and is merely a wishful thinking, then it cannot be the part of what is the best in me. On the other hand, if my wish is indeed expressive of what is the best in me then that wish is also the part of my best efforts for a better future and therefore I would not wish my future to be any different, but just the outcome of what I wished for, hoped for and made efforts for all the way along, the best. I would change instead what in the future would me my past, the time now.

How can I alter the outcome of something I don't know is going to happen.
I agree, I'd rather alter the past. But be careful, if you alter one event you may set a chain reaction of events that will alter your prersent. Like in back to the future, Marty was almost not born due to his mother taking a liking to him instead of his father.

You cannot Alter future events because future has not happened yet. You can just try to make a good future.

The future doesn't exist. Neither does the past. The only evidence we have that either ever was or will be is by traces left in the present. Though people often talk about such things, nobody ever really goes to the future. No matter WHEN you THINK it is, it's really just NOW.
Since I can alter the present just fine, I'm not too worried about messing around with imaginary la-la lands. Thanks anyway.

I don't know whats going to happen in the future so why would i want to change it? I wouldn't like to change something and then find out that it turned out much worse than if i had done nothing. I think even the bad things in life can eventually lead to some of the nicest experiences.
