A transaction is pending and you become negative because of it do you get charged a overdraft fee I have chase

The transactions are suppose to be refunded to me by the company because they charged me wrongfully for an item, so I have to wait 2-3days for them to be canceled, but in the meantime I am negative because of this what do you guys think?

This very same thing happened to us, I ordered a trial product. They charged my acct. $50. before our checks went in. We were charged like 3 overdraft charges, because the water company just cashed the echeck (online banking) I got my 50 bucks back but it cost 96 bucks. good luck.
