Most filmmakers get money from family and friends, but mine don't really have any money. I figure I'll have a better shot at grants when I'm done with my current project, but first I have to finish my current project. Any ideas? Anyone?

Local businesses will often help sponser a film if you put them in the credits or do some creative product placement. The important thing is to appear professional. Present them with options and give them a clear layout of what they will get for the money. Also let them know where you plan on submitting the film. They will want to know who is going to see it.

When you find the money and you get your film going, contact me so I can help. I have been looking for film work since I graduated. Not much luck for me. I don't have the "go get it" attitude I need. You got it though!! Good Job.
