Painting or sketching?

Sketching, sketching is just a sketch (obviously), which is basically a quick drawing of someone/something without having the pressure of messing up and having to start over again. EWith painting, it usually takes more time, because if you mess up then that's it. You either have to start over or keep going with that mistake.

I find sketching easier.. I feel that I have more control of the pencil or which ever medium I'm using to sketch with. Painting.. I'm ok, but I find it harder to get the same effect as when I'm sketching.

painting of course because if you screw up then you can make it seem like it was meant to be like that rather then sketching you have to observe alot and it takes more time because you have to go over it and correct things. A painting can be anything you want it to be.

In order to do it right, both are equally as hard, unless you are more talented in one. Some people have a natural ability in these areas. I took an art class in highschool and got a C. It wasn't easy for me.
