I've posed the same question about braille on the drive-thru ATM's. Don't ask me why, but I picture the old Letterman skit of Ray Charles behind the wheel doing Dave's driving test.

Is there? That is very interesting. Since most blind people don't drive. But I assume that if a seeing person is lazy and they dont want to tell the non seeing person what they have, then, that's why it is there. Just in case.

Most of the time the driver does the ordering, sometimes (albeit rarely) the person in the back seat will do the ordering instead. This way if you have a blind person in the back seat (or one thats visually impaired) s/he can still order.
