You could have got all of this by reading Wikipedia (see link below). But here we go: -

REASONS for the French Revolution. All of these factors contributed to the revolt: -
A very unfair tax system.
High unemployment.
High food costs.
A poor harvest made food scarce and even more expensive.
Resentment of privileges available only to nobles.
Resentment of near-feudal conditions on farms.
Resentment of privileges available only to clergy.
The spread of ideas about democracy.
The complete failure of the government to deal with the problems.

OBJECTIVES?
Everybody involved in the Revolution had different objectives, because they all had different, individual problems with the existing situation in France. But, in a broad sense, the revolutionaries wanted to put right all of the problems listed above. And, as the Revolution progressed, objectives changed. Gradually, most of the Revolutionaries decided it was time to get rid of the Monarchy, the Aristocracy, Church privileges, etc. The ideal aims became:
[1] Liberty
[2] Equality
[3] Brotherly love between all French citizens

I don't understand what you want when you say "what did Napoleon??"

I am just guessing that you may be asking "what did Napoleon do in the French Revolution?"

When the Revolution began, he was a junior officer in the army, and he played no big part in the early stages of the Revolution. In fact, he was in Corsica from 1789-93.

He made his name as a capable soldier at the siege of Toulon. He became friendly with influential politicians, who arranged for him to be given command of an army. He did very well leading that army in Italy: so well that he became very well known and popular with the people of France. He then led another French army on a wild-and-crazy expedition to attack Egypt: that ended in disaster, but Napoleon escaped in time and returned to France.

He then plotted with some politicians and organized a military coup against the government. The government fell, and Napoleon took power himself. At first he called himself "First Consul", but later he changed that to Emperor. Essentially he became the dictator of France. The Revolution was over.

Reasons:
France was experiencing economic struggle due to Louis XIV's excessive spending on Versailles, France's funding the American Revolution, and the Seven Years' War. Economic struggles yield revolutions.
The French saw the success of the American Revolution and a more liberal England and wanted to join the club. The goal of their revolution was to move France more toward liberalism.

Napoleon came in after the Revolution started falling apart and brought France back from a radical democracy to a more conservative monarchy.

high taxes on the poor
clergy and nobility had very little taxes
the royal family spent allot of money on ridiculous things, while most of France was hungry
bread shortages
financial support of the American Revolution
Someone, was using propaganda against the royal family (true or not)--saying that the king was hoarding all of the grain
Marie Antoinette was a spend thrift who had no regard for the people of France, she was also an adulterous, and the famous quote "let them eat cake" which historians now believe that she did not say.

The average people felt that they did not have an adequate voice in the government (at that time the estates general) after being locked out of their meeting room at Versailles the common people met on the tennis courts and took an oath to form their own government.

ok the frenh revolution was all started because the french wanted freedom. They wanted to be equal. Everyone had groups at that time like poor, slave or noble. So they got tired of not having the same rights as everyone else and after that they still didn't get what they wanted because women were not even allowed to vote at that time
