Hahah thants so true. I always have my mouth open as well. I guess it help you conentrate better and it seems to streach the eye open. I don't know I think that would be it.

I never open my mouth to put on mascara. It's just a matter of training yourself to keep your mouth closed.

I think it's not really an accurate myth, unlike closing your eyes while sneezing. Some women do to make their eyes bigger for applying mascara. I never open my eyes while putting on mascara.

It depends on the person. Me for instance, i dont ever open my mouth when im putting mascara on. For some people its just a reflex when they widen their eyes, their mouth happens to do the same.

An open mouth helps with muscles around your eyes so they don't react when having something put on your eyes.

well I guest I never tried to do it with my eyes closed but I suppose it's because you kind of have to look up to put it on otherwise you'll get it on ur face and you don't want that y can u put it on with your mouth cosed

thats a great question. dont know if there is an answer to that one though. kinda like sneezing and trying to keep your eyes open. dont think it can be done. try it sometime. sneeze with your eyes open. lol its very hard to do.
