Hey sweetie, its alright to be scared. I was too. The best part is when you get it they can normally let you go home if you get it in school. just tell the teacher you got it (if shes a girl) she will understand and help you out. dont be scared of it, its a normal thing. its gonna feel like a stomach ache before you get it, and then when you do get it its like also a unique feeling. Good luck, and keep your head up!

Babe, first just take a deep breath. It's all going to be fine. It can be scary and awkward at first, but it will become so normal after awhile. Look around at school... about half the kids there are female, so chances are you are not going to be the first person ever to go through this and teachers are totally used to it. Have any equipment you might need in your locker and backpack, but if by any chance you have an emergency, ask a friend for an extra pad or ask your teacher to go to the nurse (unless it's a teacher you really trust, and then ask them). Really though, don't stress it, every girl is different so when it comes, it comes!

Dont be afraid of your period. Yes it is a pain in the butt, but its really not all that bad. If you have it in school, in the middle of class, just go up to the teacher and tell her your having a feminine emergency. If its not something you can say quietly so that the class will not hear it, then ask to go to the bathroom and say its an emergency, then head to the nurses office and grab a pad or tampon, or you can hide either or somewhere on your person. Its really not that bad. If it really bothers you that much, I suggest putting on a light pad or panty liner so that your covered for a little bit until you can really do something about it.

Before your period you might get mood swings, ache down there, and/or find a clear or milky discharge in your underwear. If you feel wet in your pants at school and you have a male teacher you can ask to go to the bathroom and wrap toilet paper around your panties if you don't have a pad. If you have a woman teacher, tell her it's a feminine emergency or just say you're having your period. She'll understand. If you get stains on your clothes, wash them in COLD water and scrub them with soap as soon as you get home. Bleach can help too. Note: most schools keep pads in the school office or nurse's office in case a student starts at school. Calm down. They're a nuisance, but we all live through them. You'll be fine, kid. ;-)

Im 16.
Luckily i got myn on a weekend.
The thing to do is talk to ur mom or whoever is looking after you.
Ask them for a pad and keep it in ur napsack in a place that no one would find it.
You will feel it coming usually a day or 2 before u will have a lil pinkish colour on the toilet paper when u wipe.
Or a white colour discharge in ur underwear.
If u feel really wet down there just go to the bathroom u might have started it.
Dont worry about it:)
Good luck

Just in case it ever happens, have a good supply of pads in your house, and keep some in your backpack, as well as your coat pocket. (always is a good brand) Before your period, you might get tired, have a headache, and maybe some mild cramping. Good luck!
