try febreeze, and next time if you dry them try the fluff setting, air movement, but no heat

the birnt rubber smell is prolly concentrated, move to rugs into a open area and spray that area and the previous with a odor REMOVER not one that covers up (I recamend oust)

wash them again in cold water with extra fabrick softener( the scented kind) and air dry it or set the dryer on ultra delicate. Never dry your clothes on high, unless it is a towell or you lost weight and try to shrink it

Yuck. Next time don't dry them, hang them over something. In the meantime put them in a tote container with a lid with a bunch of newspapers in there.

i don't know don't think you can get rid of the smell,,,,be lucky you didn't set it on fire in the dryer
