Then make time for the two of you to spend time together. You know where there`s a will, there`s a way. It sounds to me that being apart has made the heart grow fonder. Plan a time when you can be together and go on a picnic or a hike or just something where you both can be alone and spend precious time with each other. And let him know that you are feeling the same way he is. GOOD LUCK

he has to accept the fact that you two have different opinions and are different people and won't see eye to eye to everything. that probably has something to do with why you two aren't together anymore. if his opinions and high strung feelings are so important to him that he can't stand to be around you it's time to question how deep the friendship is to him to begin with. it isn't being reciprocated; you could spill your heart out to him and he'll still digress towards the difference of opinions.
I've had a lot of female friends, some i consider to be close some i miss because I'll never see them again and some i rarely had anything in common with. for the most part; i seriously, violently disagree with them on a lot of issues but i can get over it and move on with the friendship in spite of it because they're there for me in other ways. those few i don't, and haven't, it isn't because of the issues, but a lack of respect I've experienced or exhibited in other areas, some interpersonal and romantic, others, well perhaps I'll never know. sometimes you just aren't feeling someone and you don't know why you can't really articulate it. leave him alone; if the friendship is truly there to begin with he'll come around and let you know what's up if not then it isn't as deep as you'd like it to be ...

being mad with u will not change the fact that u guys live distance apart.what he should be doing is helping u figure out some ways in which u can see each other to spend some time together and stop being mad.

Just be open honest and direct with him. It depends on why he is angry with you. Communication is the KEY WORD here
