I personally liked the movie, regardless of how people criticize the movie about the fat jokes being distasteful. It was more than that. For example how Norbit got so depended on Rasputia that he started thinking that he loved her and wound up marrying her. She was just a security blanket. It was funny on more than one occasion. The cast was great. Norbit was a henpecked man. Rasputia could sleep around but Norbit couldn't even talk to anyone else without being threatened.
It is time to be honest some people do look like Rasputia but why get offended they did not even use your name. If you hate fat jokes then loose weight. Don't stop others from enjoying a good movie.

i think it is really funny. It is funny in a stupid way. I loved Eddie Murphy's acting. He was hilarious. I think Norbit was one of the best comedias

My two sons just saw it yesterday. (mid thirties) They loved it but both stated that over weight people would find it offensive. Eddie Murphy movies are always over the top so always expect anything ! Enjoy! at your own risk

It was funny but i know eddie murphy is smarter ... i mean how many times has he played 2 characters in a movie? thats yesterdays news he needs some more ideas
