What are some of her major accomplishments besides movie roles? As she done anything like build a school for African girls like Oprah or anything like that?

She has two kids and is a hands on mother and also works.
She hasn't done that many movies that put her in the same salary category as Oprah - I don't think she would be able to afford to open schools.
Plus she was married before she met Sam Mendes so I would say he took a good size chunk of her fortune.

Oprah happens to be the richest woman in the world and it is appaling that it has taken her so long to open a school in Africa. Just because she has not done anything life changing she has her own kids to worry about and take care of!

I think she sticks with acting. But most actors don't do these acts and when they do its for publicity.
