I was almost 3 weeks late on my period this month. I got it today, along with the most horrible and painful cramps of my life, like nothing I've ever had before. I'm dizzy, lightheaded, shaking, and I've been throwing up all day. I can't even keep down a few sips of water. What could this mean? Should I go to the doctor?

IF you're sexually active and you're 3 weeks plate with your period, then you should definately see a doctor, or if you want to set your mind at ease, go to a drug store and buy a home pregnancy testing kit. Or you may just have a bad flu virus thats effected your hormon levels and is causing all of these symptoms

Take care of yourself hun.

I think you could be pregnant. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period. Nausea, backache, sickness, swollen breasts, dizzinness, lightheadedness are all symptoms of pregnancy, so I think you should either buy a test or go to a doctor. Good luck!

It sounds to me like you have more of a stomach virus then anything to do with your period. Your period will be erratic, but unless your sexually active I wouldnt worry about it. If you are sexually active then i would see your gynocologist immediately, because you could have miscarried if your not on the pill. Its either a stomach virus or you've had a bad reaction to birth control. Good luck and I hope you feel better.

I have that problem sometimes,

After its over go see your doctor and talk to him about it

He can give u pills that will help with the pain.

Unless ur preganant. But if u have a period then im doubting ur preganant.
