My group is stumped for ideas...must follow these ethical guidelines-

Do no Harm
Accurately describe risks to potential subjects
Minimize any discomfort to participants
Maintain confidentiality
Do not unnecessarily invade privacy
Use deception only when absoulutely necessary
Remove any misconceptions caused by deception- debrief
Provide results and interpretations to participants
Treat participants with dignity and respect
Get informed consent

this is for a college Social Psych Class.

the ethical guidelines are not the main part of doing a social psychology experiment. What you need to do is figure out what interests your group (e.g., helping behavior, stereotyping, interpersonal relationships). You could come up with your own study or replicate an existing study.

THEN, when you are designing a study that you are interested in, you use the ethical guidelines to mold your study.

human beings watching/reactions in the direction of a concern: how many adult males might carry a door open for a pleasing women persons to the proportion of circumstances the door may be held for a fat unattractive women persons. how many adult males might end and %. something up that the beautiful women persons did no longer understand she had dropped or the unattractive women persons dropped. there are various belongings you're able to do with human beings watching; and public reactions.

it does not have to be the "stock market", literally.
i think the best way to refer to the "social" component would be by touching "economics". ie profit/damage related to others.
