is there a reason people have blue eyes/green, why is it usually white people have them?

Eye color is genetic, and more specifically, polygenic. This means that eye color is determined by more than one gene, all genes being inherited from your parents. Basically the genes combine to code for different types and amounts of pigments in the eyes. Some people will receive pigments that reflect wavelengths of light that appear blue, or green, or brown, and this is what we can see when we look at their eyes.

Any color pigment usually will block out the blue that might be refracted out of the eye. Blue eyed people don't have "blue" pigment in their eyes, blue is the most easily refracted color, so when light passes through your eye, everything but blue escapes. White people have less pigment then non-whites.

Everything on the human body comes from your genes. Blue eyes are blue because it reflects blue light from the color spectrum. As for why white people have them most commonly...I'm assuming it something to do with the movement from the Caucasoid mountains?

not only white people get blue/green eyes... it's a lack of pigmentation in the eye. White people lack pigmentation in all their body and in their eyes too.... those not white with blue/green eyes lack pigmentation in the eyes.

In humans, these variations in color are attributed to varying ratios of eumelanin produced by melanocytes in the iris. The brightly colored eyes of many bird species are largely determined by other pigments, such as pteridines, purines, and carotenoids.

Three main elements within the iris contribute to its color: the melanin content of the iris pigment epithelium, the melanin content within the iris stroma, and the cellular density of the iris stroma. In eyes of all colors, the iris pigment epithelium contains the black pigment, eumelanin. Color variations among different irises are typically attributed to the melanin content within the iris stroma. The density of cells within the stroma affects how much light is absorbed by the underlying pigment epithelium.
