I was never called in to consult on the Amityville case. so I can not be certain; but I have seen things that were every bit as bad as the amityville incident.
One incident I was called in was where a Catholic priest had been picked up in thin air and thrown half way across the living room.
I have heard strange knocks on the walls; see liquid like blood run down the walls of the room, and seen a room fill with a fog that was very thick, I have seen black demons that were 7-8 feet tall with glowing red eyes. and a lot more.
It is entirely possible that someone exorcised the spirits there, or the new tenants are not irritating the spirits there.

I read the book when it first came out in the 70's and I thought possibly it could be. BUT then a few years after the book came out and the movie with Margo Kidder and James Brolin, there was a documentary on the house with the current occupants and they said they had no trouble with it.
That the RED room was just a hidden pantry under the stairs. It has been said that the people who wrote the book were in a lot of financial trouble and this was their way of getting out of it. Indisputably, there was a mass homicide committed there by Ronnie Defeo (I think I spelled that wrong), who killed his entire family there and blamed it on spirits.
My daughter traveled there last year at my request as we are a spirit sensitive family and she really didn't FEEL any thing from the outside but she was approached by the biggest cat she's ever seen that wanted to go home with her and we didn't see anything in the pictures she took but of course we never went inside so I would say that although there IS reason to believe it is possibly haunted, I don't think so.

They claim it was, but the new people say nothing so far.
And does leave you wondering why others and not some wouldn't be affected by the evil in that house.
I think something happen to be of somewhat the truth.
It is creepy though and I for one would have never bought the house or slept there!

Yes it is. Just because someone now is having no problem dose not mean some oneelse will not. I havee lived in a haunted house and know there are some people they never miss with and they do.

Yes, it's haunted by millions and millions of dollars from the book and movie. Last I heard, the house in question is still standing, people are living in it, and they are having no problem at all.
