If you honestly think there is one you obviously have never watched Law.

No doubt Law is a great clutch shooter. I have not seen him play enough to say whether he is a great distributor of the basketball. I think Ty Lawson from Carolina is the fastest guard, but he's a freshman.

I'm not a Carolina fan, but they have a freshman point guard named Ty Lawson, who would blow past Law with 2-3 consecutive cross overs leaving him on the floor entangled in his own feet. It would be really sad. Now after that he'd either dish to Wright or Hansbrough for a dunk or simply knock down a soft 10 foot jumper. He's done it against every guard he's faced yet. Now you can go look up the stats, but that won't do Lawson any justice because UNC is so deep and their stats are dispersed among 12 players. And the kid can stick to you like glue on defense because he is so quick. The only way you can get away from him is hope to god your teammate screens him off of you. You actually have to watch Lawson play with your own eyes to understand just how great he is. Having said all this, believe it or not, I do like Acie Law's game.

Don't get me wrong I am big on Acie Law, however I see him of more as a 2 guard, almost like a Damon Stoudamire type. I think Taurean Green really makes the Gators go. I would say Law is better, but Green will lead his team farther in the tourney.

THERE IS NO ONE BETTER THAN acie law! period.... he is by far the most clutch player in college basketball this year and possibly the last 10 years or more... he has hit so many clutch shots it is unreal.... plus you know that he will hit his free throws when they count he is a 79% FT shooter overall but 89% in the last 4 minutes of the 2nd half or OT.... and he doesn't take stupid shots just to get shots in.. if he doesn't have a good look he will dish it off to an open teammate.... and again with the clutch part it is not only that he does it , it is who he does it against.... he doesn't do it against mediocre teams he does it against the games elite teams in TEXAS, TEXAS TECH, KANSAS STATE, and KANSAS .. so good luck finding a better PG anywhere in college basketball

Rob McKiver from Houston. This guy takes over a game by him self. He plays for a below par team, but if it were not for him they would not win a game. He has put the team on his shoulders all year. He is their only Offenceive threat. He gave Memphis a run in their last game of the regular season. He defense in is good in the first half. He is so tired the second half that he can guard anyone. He never comes out the the game and he fights through injuries.

Ty Lawson from Carolina has a much better Asst./TO ratio. He is also quicker and we haven't seen his best yet. He has been nursing an injured wrist all year. Ty had a better game head-to-head with Conley. ZERO turnovers in that game. Don't give me the sob story about Oden not being around either. Oden doesn't have to play for your guard to get assists and keep from turning the ball over. He'll get his nuts waxed in the Pros because he won't run the floor.

Did you notice that, unlike 2005, they kept all of the Big 10 teams away from Carolina this year?

Acie Law without a doubt is the best clutch shooter and a great team leader.

there is no one as good as law, he's a terror when there's 5 minutes or less and is a more than adequate distributor of the basketball...his clutch shooting and overall good play in all facets of the game make him the best, with drew neitzel coming in second and ty lawson somewhere in the top 10 or 15, although there are others that make a big difference

as for paulus, he takes some awful shots and sometimes is just completely lost running that offense...maybe he just isn't a good fit for what duke does, but he has been awful at times and not quite as bad at other times

Drew Neitzel - Michigan State

He's contributing so much more and has improved so much since last season. He's the most feared point guard in the Big Ten. His threes come when they need to and he leads the young offense. He basically single handedly got them into the NCAA tournament. He's also the best free throw shooter in the Big Ten at around 92%.

Law is a great player, and money when the game is on the line, but he's not what I'd call a point guard. The best point in the country is Marquette's Dominic James.
