look on moneysupermarket, it looks at lots of travel insurance companies and has a specific search for over 65s. Dont forgot to tell the insurance company about any medical things becuase they can void the insurance if you dont

There are quite a number of good companies that do travel cover for people with pre-existing medical conditions of all sorts (including high cholesterol and high blood pressure).
I'd recommend "The Insurance Surgery", a company set up precisely for people with pre-existing medical conditions. They're a broker, so they have access to several companies. You start off by filling in a few details, then they point you in the direction of good potential companies.

Go with http://www.insureforall.com/ . The specialise in senior citizen travel insurance and will provide cover for those with pre-existing medical conditions (http://www.insureforall.com/pre-existing-medical-conditions.cfm). Insure For All was also nominated in the Insurer of the Year and won a recent award for their services. So it may be the best place to go or contact for information.

Squaremouth is a comparison website that provides hundreds of products with UK and US based sites that provide cover for pre-existing medical conditions. If you don't mind paying in US$ then I recommend the US site because that specializes in travel health insurance for any age and any nationality so long as they are traveling outside their home country.
US site for any nationality:

Y mucha suerte.
