Any tips on TRAVEL INSURANCE for a trip to USA?

Question

I have to book a flight for myself (60) Husband (68) Mother (84)
I am fit and healthy (touch wood) the other two are on tablets for COLESTEROL, and BLOOD PRESSURE, more preventative then anything else, they are both very fit and healthy.
BUT I have been told that insurance is VERY HEAVY for those over 6O and on any form of medication. Any one out there got any hints or tips ???

look on moneysupermarket, it looks at lots of travel insurance companies and has a specific search for over 65s. Dont forgot to tell the insurance company about any medical things becuase they can void the insurance if you dont

There are quite a number of good companies that do travel cover for people with pre-existing medical conditions of all sorts (including high cholesterol and high blood pressure).

If you don't mind paying in US$ then I recommend the US site because that specializes in travel health insurance for any age and any nationality so long as they are traveling outside their home country.

forget reasonabe, get the cover that actually covers you, a few quid now may save you in the long run. I`m £4 yrs old and always get insurance up to the hilt any time l travel to the states.

got mine from the r.a.c
i have the same as yourself high blood pressure cholesterol
was really cheap but dont try the post office i did and i would have needed a bank loan to pay for it

Mi padre también tenía problemas de colesterol. “Búscame soluciones en Internet” me decía. Al principio, entre las medicinas y tal, no me lo tomaba particularmente en serio…pero eso no era vida. Tanto vigilar la dieta, tantos problemas, tantas medicinas…
Al final acabamos buscando, y preguntando a otra gente en la ciudad. Me recomendaron este método y me avergüenza decir que al principio no creía en él y busqué otros…pero acabé volviendo a él una y otra vez hasta que al fin lo llevé a cabo.
Y debería haber sido el primero que hubiese probado, funciona perfectamente.
