It is generally fairly easy to tell if something is right to do, you just have to ask yourself a few other questions:

Will it harm anyone?
Is it honest and does not require deceit?
If it does cause someone pain now will it serve a greater good in the long run?
Will it increase the hapiness and well being of myself or another?

Anything which causes no harm, is honest and increases happiness in this life should not be left undone. It would be wrong not to do it.

You listen to your conscience. No one can tell you what is right or wrong. You feel it. You know it in your soul. When you do the right thing, you feel good about it. You are at peace with it. When you do the wrong thing, it eats away at you. You stress about it.

Unfortunately some people don't have a conscience & they don't feel guilty for doing wrong. These are the evil sociopaths.

I have a very guilty conscience. It doesn't let me away with much. So I tend to do the right thing 99% of the time.

you feel like doing the exact opposite because you think it is right but that is just your perception of reality not the real reality that isn't quite real once you think it is because it is real sometimes but never real at the same time sometimes. but you never know when something is right even though you do because what do you know in reality is nothing but everything but some things at the same time. and if you want to do something wrong, just do it because you never have forever and time may pass you like a runaway train in japan.

According to Immanuel Kant, if an action can be done by everyone, then it is safe to assume that it is moral. For example, stealing is not moral because if it were a universal law and everyone stole, then there would be no property because everyone could take what anyone had, therefore one could not steal because there is no property to steal.

So, if anyone can do an action, then it is safe to assume that it is moral, or the right thing to do.

You don't. You just go with what you THINK is the right thing to do.

Any situation has so many possibilities that knowing the correct course of action in advance is impossible, outside of controlled conditions.

Ask yourself this question regarding your considered decision. Next week at this time will I still feel it was the right thing to do? If the answer is yes, it is the right decision.

When you feel good after you do it. Like helping a blind person to cross the street or giving a lost kitten a good home. It's that warm feeling you get inside after you do the "right" thing, that's how.
