Not really, but I like the taste of Mentadent. None really whiten effectively, I use Crest White Strips, they really do work.

My dentist recommended Crest White Strips

Biotene--the mint gel. It relieves dry mouth, which is a cause of bad breath and it aggravates mouth ulcers, gum disease, and plaque formation.

The paste isn't as good. I mean, it works fine, but it doesn't taste as good as the gel.

If you don't have dry mouth, then try Arm and Hammer Enamel Care, which is available in regular and Extra Whitening. It fills in the little pits and fissures in your enamel, which makes it smoother, whiter, and shinier--it makes it look almost pearlescent. It strengthens your enamel and makes your teeth whiter, though not scary-white like bleach. Use it a while and you'll definitely see a difference.

But it tastes a little weird, what with the baking soda.

For best taste and overall value, definitely Pepsodent. Fantastic wintergreen flavor, good at whitening, and it's also good for filling in small holes in white walls and polishing silver (in a pinch.) And it's like a buck for a big tube. Mmmmm, wintergreen.

Nope. The only kind that actually delivers on its promise is Sensodyne. I'm sad to report that I use it. And it does work!

Whitening, schmitening - it's all just marketing.

If you want whiter teeth, have it done at your dentist's office. If you want to keep stains off, use a little baking soda added to your tpaste once a week or so.

Who cares as long as they clean your teeth, but the extra whitening capabilities really don't work.

they are all the same, no one is better really, it is in the way you brush your teeth that keeps the plaque and food off them
