You want to not only have a tatoo that is dedicated to him but also shows the significance of why he died. I would suggest having a tatoo with the symbol from the "March of dimes" (The organization that raises money for pre-mature babies and research) and his name and the date of his birth above it. Here is a link to the official march of dimes website

I am so terribally sorry for your loss. It is the worst thing in the world to loose a child and it is so sweet that you are saluting your late son in such style. Good luck

Hi, I'm so sorry for your loss my heart goes out to you. I have been looking for a similar tattoo. I have just had my 3rd miscarriage and have no other children. I was thinking of getting a real life looking tattoo of a baby cherub angel. In your case maybe a boy baby angel and maybe the name underneth it or something like that. Good luck xoxo

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how you must feel.
I saw a tattoo once that a guy had gotten of his young daughter that passed away. It was a black and white portrait of her face, and she was laying down asleep. She looked so peaceful, which was a relief to him as she had suffered from a disease for a long time before she passed. The tattoo also had her name in beautiful, flowing lettering. It was really nice and a great way to carry her with him forever.
I hope you find something that you love. I think it's a great way to remember your son.

so some distance as i'm conscious, which could be our youngest baby, JONATHAN, who regrettably, DIED abruptly and without note in 2003 at a trifling AGE 2! He were given ill, and died interior 5 DAYS! He could were 7 on the 15th of this month! only stating this brings up each and each of the painfulness linked with this tragic journey! i do not cry just about as a lot as I used to, yet MY heart HURTS over this nonetheless! GOD is conscious HOW a lot I omit HIM, and how I lengthy TO HAVE AND carry AND PLAY WITH HIM!!! My convenience about this lies in understanding he's "threat-free contained in the hands of Jesus" (in Heaven), and that i'm SO happy he's no longer the following to make certain what his mom has accomplished because then, it truly is an finished tale in itself; yet believe me, it truly is undesirable!!! i'm happy he will in no way wade through again, and that i have wish that faster or later i will see him again in Heaven! LOVE your babies! You in no way understand only how lengthy they are going to be round!

Because there maybe more children in your future, I would suggest you make a memorial garden for him. You can get a small child's cement bench with his name and picture and place it next to a pond (you can purchase at home and garden stores). This way when or if you do have other children as they grow older if they ever feel they just need to talk or vent they can got sit at their big brothers spot. This way everyone (including your visitors) can enjoy and honor him. My condolences.

Oh sweetie I am so sorry for the loss of your little one. My heart aches for you.
I have seen tattoos of faces...actual portraits of loved ones. They look like pencil drawings but in exquisite detail. Done correctly they are quite stunning.
God bless.

Did they take his foot print in the hospital? my sister in law has a tattoo of her daughters footprint on the top of her foot. She gets many compliments and it is adorable!
